⚠️ Educational, not financial advice. QuidCast explains what financial news and figures mean in general terms. It does not give personal recommendations, tell you what to buy, sell, hold or switch, or assess what is suitable for you. QuidCast and Dash Digital are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). For advice about your own situation, speak to an FCA-authorised adviser.
In one paragraph

You can use QuidCast free without an account. If you choose QuidCast Plus (£5 a month or £45 a year), you get more daily Explains and full-article analysis; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Everything on QuidCast is educational and may contain mistakes, especially AI-generated text, so check the source before acting on anything. Your financial figures stay on your device; an account stores only your email and billing status.

1. Who you are dealing with

QuidCast is operated by Dash Digital Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 17185782), registered office 3rd Floor, 86‑90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected]. Website: dash-digital.uk.

By using quidcast.com, creating an account or subscribing to Plus, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What QuidCast is — and is not

Your decisions are yoursAny financial decision you make is your own responsibility. Where something depends on your personal situation, please consult a suitably qualified, FCA-authorised professional.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not: try to break, overload or bypass the service or its limits; use it for anything unlawful; submit other people's personal data to the AI; or present QuidCast output as advice to others. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

6. Content and intellectual property

News headlines and excerpts belong to their publishers, and we link to the original. Our own text, design and code are ours (or our licensors'). You may use QuidCast for personal, non-commercial purposes and share links freely. AI-generated explanations are for your personal understanding; please do not republish them as if they were professional advice.

7. Availability and changes

QuidCast is a small independent service. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it, and we may change, add or withdraw features. If we withdraw Plus entirely, we will refund any unused part of a prepaid period.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Otherwise, because QuidCast is educational and you make your own decisions, we are not liable for any financial loss arising from reliance on the content, for errors in third-party data or AI output, or for loss of data that was stored only in your browser. For Plus subscribers, our total liability for any claim relating to the subscription is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.

10. Complaints

If something has gone wrong, email [email protected] and we will reply within 5 working days. For data protection complaints you can also contact the ICO (details in the privacy policy).

11. Changes to these terms

We will post changes here with a new "last updated" date and, for anything that affects a paid subscription, email account holders at least 30 days in advance.
